Created by nerds for nerds, “Behind the Blue Door” is our sexy, silly take on the Whoniverse.  We’re looking for performers (solo or otherwise) who share our love of Dr. Who.  Do you carry a sonic screwdriver?  Sleep with a TARDIS nightlight?  Do you love the Doctor and yearn to show that love to the world through stripping, song, and/or dance?  We want to hear from YOU.  Our primary focus is burlesque, but we welcome proposals from all disciplines: song, dance, film, puppets, spoken word fanfic, pole dance… you get the picture.  Send us your ideas!

Miss Violet DeVille is a trans woman and a class act from a history that never was. She is a steampunk who has found a love of dance, performing, and taking her clothes off for other people in raunchy and entertaining ways! 

Actually, the Timeless Trollop of the Gaslight District has always loved performing and the dancing is the new found bit though she has always loved taking off her clothes, much to the consternation of her family and loved ones.

When not producing and performing in burlesque and cabaret shows, she belly dances and spends an inordinate amount of time in her workshop building Victorian era inspired contraptions. Mad science has never been so sexy!
